Emergency card

A UBC Emergency Wallet Card is available for students. It includes UBC’s emergency contact number and important consulate and travel insurance information.

• Before leaving, print and fill in the required information on the card.
• Include your travel medical insurance policy number and the provider’s worldwide telephone number and your country’s Canadian consulate/embassy telephone number.
• Keep the card with you at all times.

Things to Remember

– ensure passport is valid for six months
– apply for a visa if applicable
– check if you need a medical exam
– read through the DFAIT website for your country
